APAVAC invites you to the year opening with a piano concert on Friday 30 October at 19:00

Dear Members and Friends,

The Association of Teachers of English in Valencia, Alacant and Castelló (APAVAC) is pleased to invite you to the opening ceremony of the academic year 2015-16 to be held on Friday 30 October at 19:00 at the Assembly  Hall of IES Lluis Vives in Valencia.

At  the event we will have the privilege of listening to pianist Yamini Teresa Prabhu Barretto with a program entitled "The Scriabin recital “.

We extend our invitation to the companion of your choice and ask you to kindly confirm attendance due to the limited capacity of the venue.

FYI: V Jornadas Valencianas en torno al aprendizaje de lenguas asistido por ordenador

Tenemos el placer de anunciaros que las V Jornadas Valencianas en torno al aprendizaje de lenguas asistido por ordenador tendrán lugar los días 13 y 14 de noviembre de 2015 en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería del Diseño (Universitat Politècnica de València) bajo el lema Telecolaboración y redes sociales.

Contamos con la presencia de 7 conferenciantes invitados, expertos en el tema, provenientes de varios puntos de Europa. También han confirmado su participación varias editoriales/empresas, que nos mostrarán sus novedades editoriales y productos.

APAVAC Castelló second meeting of the English Teaching Exchange on Saturday, November 7th

Hi everyone,

APAVAC Castelló will be holding the second meeting of the English Teaching Exchange on Saturday, November 7th from 10.30am until 12 noon.

The English Teaching Exchange is free and open to all local English teaching professionals to attend and will consist of 3 main components:-

• useful input on teaching ideas and methodology
• sharing and exchange of ideas, resources, information and experience
• fun, support and networking opportunities

The topic for this second get-together will be ´Communicative Teaching´, as voted for in the first event in October.

Members Sorina Stelea and Teresa Agost will be presenting and leading this time.

As before, the English Teaching Exchange will take place at Agora Centre D´Estudis, C/Madrid no. 10 bajo izq. (next to La Plaza la Muralla in the centre of Castellon)

This is a great opportunity to get involved and help shape the future of a forum which aims to provide support, information, access to information, sharing of experiences and resources and training....and whatever else we decide is important to us as English teaching professionals in the Castellon area.

Once you register, you will be sent a pre-session task to complete and bring on the day.
