Hem pensat que era hora d’unir-nos tots els que ens dediquem a ensenyar ANGLÉS professionalment. L’objectiu és que puguem intercanviar experiències i materials i formar-nos. Volem convertir-nos en un punt de trobada dels professionals de l’anglés i organitzar jornades, xarrades i seminaris. Volem ser la veu dels professionals de l'anglés i col·laborar amb tots els relacionats amb l'anglés i amb l'administració educativa i que se’ns tinga en compte com a interlocutors a l'hora de prendre decisions.

An association to unite us all who teach English professionally has been created. The aim is to share experiences, exchange materials and encourage further training with conferences, lectures and debates and ultimately become the voice of teachers of English and liaise with all those involved and especially with our educational authority.

Congratulations to APAC in Barcelona and TESOL-Spain for stimulating and enjoyable conventions again this year.It was great to catch up with some of you too and looking forward to seeing more of you next year. We'll keep you informed of other conferences & training opportunities coming up and with Big Dance 2014 in May there is plenty of opportunity for fun too.

IATEFL Harrowgate online

Don't worry if you can't make IATEFL's 48th annual conference, British Council and IATEFL have teamed up to host discussion forums, conference blogs and provide accounts of conference sessions. Talks for Teachers: Using and Creating Stories in the Primary Classroom
9 April 18.30 - 20.00 Madrid Main Office 

Our Madrid Young Learner centre invites teachers of Primary age children to a practical session on using stories in the classroom.  The session, led by Stephen Morris, will look at a range of activities for ages and levels as well as look at how to get learners from age 5 to write their own stories.  Book your place by sending us an e-mail at teacher.training@britishcouncil.es  
CETA XV Jornadas.   Heart to Head; Feel to Learn 
10 May.  Facultad de Letras y Filosofia. Cordoba   

It's well worth keeping the date to attend the Cordoba English Teachers Association's training event of the year.  Themes for the jornada this  year are CLIL, project based learning, Project Learning Environment and Integrated Language Curriculum,.  Look out for our colleague Lisa Frost from British Council Somosaguas.  You can book at place at CETA's jornada 2014 here.
