Hem pensat que era hora d’unir-nos tots els que ens dediquem a ensenyar ANGLÉS professionalment. L’objectiu és que puguem intercanviar experiències i materials i formar-nos. Volem convertir-nos en un punt de trobada dels professionals de l’anglés i organitzar jornades, xarrades i seminaris. Volem ser la veu dels professionals de l'anglés i col·laborar amb tots els relacionats amb l'anglés i amb l'administració educativa i que se’ns tinga en compte com a interlocutors a l'hora de prendre decisions.

An association to unite us all who teach English professionally has been created. The aim is to share experiences, exchange materials and encourage further training with conferences, lectures and debates and ultimately become the voice of teachers of English and liaise with all those involved and especially with our educational authority.

Welcome to our June newsletter and congratulations to all of the ELTons winners this year! Find out below who made the honours list this year.  As football fever takes over we have some great resources to keep students engaged in June from our Premier Skills team.  Also our centre in Alcobendas is organising some free Talks for Teachers.  Hope to see you there!

Academic Teaching Excellence.  (ATE)
University of Alcalá- 23 - 27 June 2014.  


This new British Council methodology course is perfect for university staff who teach their subjects through English.   ATE is a 35 hour course and offers lecturers hands-on linguistic tools and teaching strategies to communicate effectively in English.

Trinity LTCL Diploma TESOL Course October 2014 - May 2015!  


Are you an English teacher interested in moving on to the next stage of your professional development?  The British Council, Madrid will be running the Trinity Diploma course next year and you are invited to apply!  The course is globally recognised and for experienced teachers of English wanting to develop their practical knowledge of teaching both young learners and adults.  It is a face to face taught course with input sessions on Thursday and Friday mornings.  Course fees are 2,800€.  Please contact Lesley Keast for more details:

English Agenda podcasts.  

 
This month's podcast will be of great interest to all teachers working in bilingual schools in Spain. Teresa Ting,  talks about how she started writing CLIL materials and how she developed a procedure and approach towards teaching CLIL.
